Ms. Davenport's Professional Background
* I graduated from Baker University with a Bachelor of
Science in Sociology and minors in Psychology and Mass Communications.
* Completed Pre-Physical Therapy science courses at the
University of Missouri, St. Louis for eligibility into a Masters in Physical
Therapy Program. However, I decided on a different career path and chose Early Childhood Education instead.
* I was affiliated with the YMCA Latchkey program as a
Site Director for two years and taught as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
for the YMCA, as well.
* I taught Pre-School at the Clayton Early Childhood Center
for three years.
* I earned my Early Childhood Teaching Certificate at the
University of Missouri, St. Louis.
* I have been teaching Kindergarten at Spoede for twenty years.
* I was born and have lived most of my life in St. Louis, Missouri.
* I am the middle child. I have two sisters. Their names are Janice and
Stephanie.
* I am a huge fan of most sports! I love the Cardinals and Blues! The KC Chiefs are my Pro Football Choice! I also like to watch NCAA Basketball, College Football, and USA Soccer, especially during the World Cup!
* I've climbed five 14,000 foot mountains in Colorado as a Counselor for Sanborn Western Camps. Most of the Mountains were part of the Collegiate Range.
* I played college basketball at Baker University for four years and Softball for one year.
*I have visited every state in the United States, except for Alaska. I have visited Mexico and Canada, as well as Puerto Rico, St. Croix and St. Thomas Islands. Unfortunately, I have done only a little travel outside of the country.
* I enjoy my morning coffee, reading on my Kindle, dog sitting, watching movies,
traveling, and taking pictures! I am also a huge diet coke fan.
