We had a lot of fun, although this was only a two-day week. We finished up our Thanksgiving theme and will be moving on to our unit on Transportation when we return on December 1.
Monday- We Celebrated Charlie's 5th Birthday with a Go Noodle birthday song and his choice of a couple Danny Go movement videos. We colored a book, Turkey in Disguise and we would love to read it with you at home. We made a turkey in disguise as a cupcake and finished up our Turkey in Disguise project from last week. We also completed a Cut Paper/ Torn Paper Turkey project which worked on our fine motor muscles by cutting strips of paper into small pieces and then gluing them onto a turkey template. The weather was gloomy but it stayed dry and we were able to get in our two outdoor recesses.
Tuesday- We went to the gym to watch the Kindergarten Alphabet Parade which was really cute. My Pre-K students can't wait to be the ones parading next year. We made the book Turkey, Turkey 123 which worked on our number writing to 10. We checked out new books from our Pre-K library to read over the Thanksgiving Break.
